Notes

  • Ingredients:
    2 (1 lb) rolls of Chorizo Seasoned Turkey Sausage (or regular chorizo)
    2 jalapenos
    1 banana pepper
    1 onion
    1 green pepper
    1 (29 oz) can tomato sauce
    1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
    1 (28oz) can diced tomatoes with green chiles
    1 (15.25 oz) can corn, drained
    1 packet taco seasoning
    12 oz light beer or amber ale
    *Optional- black beans or extra fresh tomatoes from the garden
    Directions:
    In a large stock pot, brown chorizo sausage and peppers and onions until meat is mostly cooked and vegetables are fragrant.
    Drain grease and return to pot.
    Add taco seasoning and stir.
    Add canned tomatoes, sauce, can of corn, and beer.
    Let simmer covered for at least an hour.
    Serve with favorite toppings, sour cream, cheese, and tortilla chips!
